Yamaha Virago description

shamrock st I have a 1988 Virago 1100 for sale. Overall the bike is in terrific shape but needs work to run. I know it needs a new battery and either a starter or solenoid. It was running last year and I would have to wiggle the wire going to the starter to get it to start. Now it doesn't start. No time to fix no time to ride so it is for sale. The carbs were cleaned out 2yrs ago and before that I replaced the starer gear, no more grinding. There is a small tear in the seat. Bike has approximately 65000mis on odometer. There is a discrepancy with the mileage title says 66800.Its a decent bike if you don't mind doing a little work I just don't have time so it is priced to sell.Bike can be seen by appointment, it is in peabody, ma RobCash at time of pickup is only form of payment I will accept.

Yet another example of conventional wisdom baloney. It’s actually more fun to ride a fast bike fast, or even a medium-fast one.

For just $120,000, you too can be the owner of a special piece of motorcycling history. Up for grabs on eBay is the 1973 Yamaha TZ750 that started it all. Claimed by the current owner to be the test mule of none other than Kel Carruthers in 1973, this TZ carries the number #409-100001. Yamaha Works GP rider Sadeo Asami cared for the motorcycle for much of its racing life until it was returned to Yamaha USA where it was destined for the crusher.
