1982 Yamaha Virago 750

You are buying my 1982 Yamaha Virago 750. I have the clear title to the bike in my name. It is a good running bike that has been well cared for. It runs real good with no problems. It rides good and does not smoke, it does not have any wierd noises and everything works well. No leaks either. It is a daily driver so it has not been sitting. Good bike. Fair price. Hard to find one this nice for this price.

Tommy Aquino Dies in Motocross Accident

California racer Tommy Aquino has died after a crash involving another rider at Piru Ranch MX in Piru, Calif. According to the Ventura County Star, the 21-year-old professional racer died in a head-on collision shortly before 12:30 pm on Feb. 2.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.

2012 Yamaha YZ250F Announced

Yamaha revealed its 2012 YZ250F motocross bike with a number of updates. The 2012 Yamaha YZ250F gets several engine refinements including a new 39mm carburetor, compared to the 2011 version’s 37mm carb. The piston and piston pin are said to be lighter, while the connecting rod and counterbalancer are also new.
