Yamaha V Star description

Beautiful pearl white, 2009 Yamaha XVS650 V-Star Classic one owner, well maintained and low miles.
This beauty needs nothing and is ready to ride. I will pick you up at the airport and you can
ride it home across country now.
Great gas mileage up to 49 actual miles per gallon.
This bike is big enough to go on long rides and light enough to handle well around town.
It has a very comfortable seating position and floor boards.
Includes nice new leather saddle bags, floor boards, new battery and fresh full synthetic oil change.
This is a very reliable time tested and proven model.
Why buy new and take that instant depreciation?
Why buy new and pay all those extra registration fees, extra in annual renewal fees, hidden dealer fees and higher taxes?
The registration is current through September 2014.
The California title is clear and shown in the pictures.

I am licensed and bonded with the California DMV. If you are in California then I will also collect the sales tax of 7.5%  plus transfer of $15 and a document preparation charge of $65. I will give you a temporary registration permit on the spot and your new registration will come to you in the mail.

You will not stand in line at the DMV and there will be no surprises.

If you are outside of California and you ship by common carrier then you will pay only the winning bid price and I will hand you or mail you the title. I must have a copy of the shipping contract from the driver when picked up or a bill of lading.

Without proof of shipment via common carrier I would need to collect the 7.5% sales tax.

Please only bid after you have calculated your delivery method and cost.

Check my healthy 100% positive E-bay score. Your satisfaction is just as important to me as is my reputation. Since 1976 I have been in this same Southern California location near Palm Springs and 40 + hours per week since 1982 as
Sam's Cycle Service Inc. I have well over 30 years here selling and servicing thousands of quality used motorcycles and ATV's

This is not my website. This auction is linked to my e-bay store and shows my e-bay score.

Unless you leave the deposit of $500.00 immediately through Pay Pal then please contact me by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of winning my auction.
Phone is 760-343-3131  My preferred method of payment is cash in person or to use my credit card terminal here at the shop but what ever you are comfortable with will work as long as funds clear my account within 10 days of the auction end and also before pick up or delivery.

To clarify legitimate intent, method of delivery and payment Please contact me within 24 hours after winning a vehicle from my auction or using buy it now. If you are new to E-Bay or have a feedback score rating of zero or less then please contact me before bidding or using buy it now. Sorry but because of spamming I would cancel your bid otherwise. If you don't have a pay pal account I will accept a credit card payment at my shop for the required minimum good faith deposit of $500.00 or payment in full. If I don't receive at least the good faith deposit within 48 hours I will assume buyer default. I would then re-list the item and send negative feedback.  Previous defaults make this policy necessary. I require full payment within 7 days of sale and before pick up or delivery. Vehicles stay in my possession until funds clear my account. Once paid in full I am willing to store the vehicle insured and inside my shop for up to 60 days at no charge.  I am easy going and professional in nature. As always your satisfaction is just as important to me as is my reputation. Please only bid when you are confident with pickup or delivery method and cost. I am very thorough with my descriptions and good with my camera but still human. I do recommend you come see my used vehicle before bidding. Please don't hesitate to contact me for clarification. I am fair and easy to get along with. You as a happy customer makes a happy business for me. Thank you for your patronage. It is a small world. Motorcycle people are my kind of people. If you have anything at all to trade I could be interested. I am sometimes here 7 days per week but am closed Sundays and Mondays. I have a  Salvage yard and repair shop here in the desert. Stop by and see me some day. Thank you and good luck!

Please look close at the pictures. I have included important cosmetic details and a picture of the certificate of title. Feel free to call me 760-343-3131 with any questions, anytime. The bike is located at Sam's Cycle Service 34-044 Bob Hope Dr. Rancho Mirage Ca. 92270 I am in dry, sunny (mostly rust free) desert of Southern California about 120 miles east of Los Angeles.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
