Yamaha V Star description

2009 Yamaha V Star Classic, NOTHING'S MORE CLASSIC THAN A GREAT DEALNOTHING'S MORE CLASSIC THAN A GREAT DEALFor years, 40 cubic inches was a lot of motor. Guess what, it still is, especially when a sweet, overhead-cam 40-inch V-twin powers a bike that doesn't weigh so much. The V Star Classic is light, maneuverable and ready for you to make it your own.

Cardboard Yamaha R1

Tue, 01 May 2012

I'm partial to a bit of origami and have been frustratingly screwing up paper trying to master Yamaha's paper craft series for a while now. Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.

THIS IS the 'Black Devil' - the latest traffic jam-busting, kamikaze two-wheel nutcase who seems to have little respect for not only his own life but eveyone else on the road, too. The rider in question has filmed himself tearing up Moscow's roads in a suicidal fashion, diving between lines of traffic in a bid to impress viewers of his hi-speed antics aboard a Yamaha R1. If he keeps this kind of activity up expect a report on his untimely demise sometime in the near future.
