Purple reigns!  This well maintained Yamaha has a lot of custom features!  Hell/toe shifter, floor boards, new handlebars, new crash bars, but never been in a crash!,  loud pipes! NEW BATTERY! Custom paint job last year! Rides great! Unfortunately, I had shoulder surgery last year and I can't ride comfortably!

For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.

Pro Racing Heading To The West Coast After All

A Pro-Am style, three-round professional motorcycle racing series is set to debut in 2014, run in conjunction with AFM, America’s oldest club racing organization. This according to a press release from Sonoma Raceway, which will also be hosting the first stop of the three-round series, May 3-4. Hosted and sanctioned by AFM, a full field of Pro Superbike and Pro Sportbike professional riders and teams are expected to compete in the event.

Intermot 2012: Yamaha Unveils Crossplane Triple Concept

Yamaha announced it is developing a new three-cylinder engine using a crossplane crankshaft inherited from the company’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bike and its YZF-R1 sportbike. Yamaha says the new Triple will play an important role in the company’s future. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled a concept sculpture with the new three-cylinder engine at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany.
