Our salespeople enjoy finding customers the right bike. We offer the World’s Largest Selection of new and used Harley-Davidsons, plus we keep over a hundred foreign trade-ins in stock as well. This means we can very often find customers exactly the bike they are looking for in the right price range. We have sold over 37,000 motorcycles in the last twenty years and enjoyed every minute of it. In the twenty years before that, the exact number is a little hazy. Those were the years with cookouts on weekends, kegs of beer left next to the grill with stacks of cups. We’re pretty sure we enjoyed those years as well but no one here remembers how many bikes we sold. We will pay up to $200 of your air fare for you to fly into our store to do your paperwork and ride your bike back. We can also arrange shipping. Honda will present its 700cc dual clutch transmission Integra scooter at EICMA, BMW announced it will unveil two new maxi-scooters in Milan, and Aprilia is rebadging an 850cc V-Twin Gilera scooter as the SRV 850. And now Yamaha is jumping into the fray with an update to its popular TMax.
Police Catch Up with Motorcycle Doing 185 mph in YouTube Video
Fri, 20 Apr 2012Authorities in British Columbia, Canada, have impounded a 2006 Yamaha R1 believed to have starred in a YouTube video reaching speeds of 299 kph (185 mph) on a freeway. The onboard video, embedded after the jump, captures the Yamaha weaving through traffic, and often lane-splitting between other vehicles, covering a 4.67 mile stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in about a minute and 56 seconds. That translates to an average speed of 144.6 mph.
Ben Spies Retires from Motorcycle Racing
Sun, 27 Oct 2013Ben Spies announced his retirement from motorcycle racing, as injuries cut short a once promising career for the American. Spies retires with a World Superbike title in his first and only season in the series, and three AMA Superbike Championships. “I want to thank everyone from racing organizations, factories, teams and all my fans for helping me and supporting me throughout my career,” says Spies.
