Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
2008 Yamaha V Star 1300, 2008 Yamaha XVS 1300 - This V Star has skull grips, levers, and an after market exhaust that is throaty but not too loud. OUR MOST POWERFUL V STAR All things in moderation, nothing in excess. That’s the idea behind the V Star 1300. At the heart of it beats a fuel-injected 80 cube engine, surrounded by a chassis built to handle. Finished off with a little streamlined style and plenty of Star quality engineering.

Tapout Themed Yamaha R1 Unveiled at UFC 129 Fan Expo
Wed, 04 May 2011The Ultimate Fighting Championships recently held the largest event in its history in Toronto and the folks at Tapout decided to use the occasion to unveil a 2011 Yamaha R1 project bike. The bike was designed Toronto’s Flat Out Industries. As you may expect, it prominently features Tapout logos all over the bike, including on the wheels, along with a pretty sweet red, black and white color scheme.
Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
Dakar Begins This Sunday!
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Dakar is an international, bad-ass, multi-day off-road event and if you’re not a fan you should be. Crossing the borders of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile the route takes motorcycle and ATV competitors through more than 5400 miles of extreme riding conditions. Competing cars and trucks go even farther.
