Yamaha V Star description

Hard times have hit and we need to sell our motorcycle.  It is a 2008 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic.  It is a great bike, 19,000+ miles on it.

We put on an oil filter relocation kit last year (changing oil is much easier now).

New tires last year as well (less than 2000 miles on the tires).

Has a couple small scratches. One clip on one of the saddle bags is messed up.

Runs great. Never laid down. No leaks. Oil changed every 2500 miles since I have owned it.

I have a walk around video of the bike and the bike starting if you would like to see, as well as more pictures, just ask.

Will assist with delivery up to 100 miles for an extra $100.

It is for sale outside eBay so we reserve the right to end the sale early if it sells.

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.

How To Rebuild a Yamaha R6 In Under A Minute + Video

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

If you’re new to the road racing scene, you might have heard the terms “Factory” and “Privateer.” For the casual observer, you’ll notice the difference between the two ultimately comes down to money and support, as one is likely working out of the back of their van while the other is supported by an 18-wheeler. This video, shot by the Y.E.S./Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team makes the line between the two sides clear as day. Watch as the Yamaha crew rebuilds Garrett Gerloff’s R6 from the frame up after a nasty crash with enough time to make the race.
