Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
I am the second owner. I bought this bike when it had only 6600 miles on it. Not much to say-it's a solid well cared for and maintained ride. I would guess that there is still 75% tire remaining. I want to point out some VERY minor imperfections, as I want to make sure that the buyer is aware. I took pictures of some small chips/scratches (hard to notice) on the fender close to the back of the rear seat. The picture makes them look more significant than they actually are. These little imperfections were there when I bought the bike, but quite honestly, I didn't even notice them at the time of purchase. Also there is a small dime sized dimple in the side of the tank. Almost impossible to see unless the light is just right and there's no damage to paint. Also you will notice that a few of the leather brads have come off the seat backs or have lost their luster. This is a very easy fix. The tires are the only part of this bike that have ever touched the ground. Mileage may vary slightly, as I do ride it on short trips occasionally. A $250 non-refundable deposit shall be due within 3 days of purchase. Balance shall be due withing 7 days of purchase. All payments to be made via certified funds. It's a beautiful bike and you will not be disappointed! Good Luck!!

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
