Up for auction is my 2007 Yamaha Vstar 650 Silverado. Miles are a little over 13,000. New professional paint job last fall. Carbs just rebuilt and the bike completely serviced. New battery last fall. Comes with all the yamaha accessories shown. I have owned it for about 3 yrs. now and due to other projects I want to sell this motorcycle. (please check out my youtube video on the Yamaha). The tires are 75%. Nice ,great running, well balanced motorcycle. Great acceleration and is fun to drive. All the gauges, lights, electrical items work as intended. I have the Bike for sale locally so it may sell early. If you have 0 or poor feedback email before bidding. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 48hrs and balance to be paid by cashiers check or money order no later than 7 days after auctions end. It is a used vehicle sold as is with no warranty. Intermot 2012: Yamaha Unveils Crossplane Triple Concept
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Yamaha announced it is developing a new three-cylinder engine using a crossplane crankshaft inherited from the company’s YZR-M1 MotoGP bike and its YZF-R1 sportbike. Yamaha says the new Triple will play an important role in the company’s future. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled a concept sculpture with the new three-cylinder engine at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany.
2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
