Yamaha V Star description

up for sale is a 2007 Yamaha V-Star 650 classic. This motorcycle was purchased new off of the showroom floor, ridden home and disassembled. The motorcycle was transformed into what you see today. It had since been in many motorcycle shows as well as car shows and always taking 1st place, half of the time the judges had no idea what they were looking at.  The bike does not only look the part, it also "scoots" and sounds great while doing so.  The bike is lowered 3" in the rear and has progressive spring kit in the forks, the tires have been replaced with "gangsta whites" or real large white walls, all of the badging has been removed for a clean look, the exhaust is fabricated onto the bike using aftermarket fat boy exhaust from a Harley and fabricating the Yamaha exhaust flanges to the pipes and then having them re chromed. The seat is custom on a factory pan, covered with artificial ostrich leather and memory foam guts.  the floor board extensions are completely made out of billet aluminum and a few hours on the bridgeport... they are super strong and extend the boards out and forward giving the rider about 4" more leg room. the handlebars are made by Carlini and were called Gangster Apes, they are 18" tall and are fitted with custom length motion pro stainless cables and brake hose. The control wiring has been run inside the bars and aluminum grips have been fitted. Kuraykn chrome covers have been placed over some components for aesthetics. The front headlight has been retro fitted with a 1960's Harley lens and has a high wattage light inside for night driving. The engine has a stage 2 kit installed including the air filter, carbs being matched and synced, full custom exhaust and emissions removed from the motorcycle. the motorcycle has been meticulously maintained and always kept in a heated/cooled garage. new battery installed this year.  Fresh oil change and gear oil for rear drive were done in the spring. The motorcycle also comes with a set of quick detach leather saddle bags. I also have the rear passenger floorboards from Yamaha and I believe there may be the factory sissy bar and rear pillion laying around as well. I would like to see this bike go to someone who will ride it as much as I have.
