2007 Yamaha V Star 1100 on 2040-motos
Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
I have owned this V STAR since 2007. The V STAR is in excellent shape
-- never damaged, dropped, etc. The onyx black with ghost flame
finish on the fuel tank make this one of the best looking bikes in the
V STAR series. All paint and trim is excellent. These bikes are getting
harder to find in great shape. This one is a fine example of the
original V STAR -- ridden easy and put away right by older rider. Always
garage kept.
The bike is mechanically perfect and stock. Nothing original removed. Upholstery excellent. Starts easily
every time. Clear title in hand. Bike is also for sale locally.
Mileage: 4025
Tires: 99%
Battery: New
Oil and Filter: New
The V STAR is at home easily purring down the road and, when you need the
power, twist the throttle and you're there! Its compact stance allows
it to carve through the twisties, and its power keeps it cruising at
highway speed all day. It's the ultimate "do all" cruiser.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.
Yamaha Recaps Josh Hayes’ 2011 AMA Superbike Championship [Video]
Tue, 22 Nov 2011Yamaha released a video looking back at Josh Hayes’ 2011 AMA Superbike season culminating with his second consecutive championship. The video takes a round-by-round look back at the season as Hayes and his Yamaha R1 duked it out with essentially a phalanx of Suzuki GSX-R1000 riders led by seven-race winner Blake Young. Highlights include the hard-fought duel between Hayes and Young at Mid-Ohio, Hayes and Tommy Hayden swapping the lead on the final lap at Laguna Seca and the title-clinching finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Valentino Rossi Works at the Yamaha Offices when not Winning Everything
Tue, 07 Jul 2009Yamaha Motor Europe has recently posted up on YouTube a delightful video about their riders. Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode. Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.
