Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
For sale is my fathers 2005 Yamaha Vstar 1100 Silverado special edition.
The bike currently has 7,000+ miles on it. The bike is equipped with
various aftermarket accessories including a Cobra aftermarket exhaust
system, front bag, and seat. Lots of time and care have been put into
it and its been religiously maintained. The tires were replaced
recently. All maintenance and yearly inspections were performed by East
Coast Cycle Center in Bensalem PA. We can try to get a printout of
service history if interested. The reason the bike is being sold is
because my father recently passed away from cancer. This bike was his
baby but no one else in the family currently rides and my mother could
use the proceeds from it. Title is in hand.
The bike can be seen at a family friends repair shop, Tylersport Service Center, in Telford PA. I am unable to ride the bike so I apologize for the pictures not being better. Please email for more details. Please email for correct vin number. *The Marine Corps Flag, The US Flag, and The Helmet Pictured are NOT part of the sale. By Bidding you are entering a legally binding contract. Unless you plan on being legally forced to buy the bike....which will happen.....DONT BID ON IT, UNLESS YOU PLAN ON BUYING IT. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end via paypal. If you commit to buy and the deposit is given it will not be given back!!!!! LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Thank you! |

Moto blog
You. Call. That. Lean
Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.

Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
