2005 Yamaha V Star on 2040-motos
Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
For sale 2005 Yamaha v star custom 650. One owner (female). Very low miles. All service work and maintenance done by professionals.
Has cobra pipes on it. I do have all the original parts still except the exhaust pipes. Looking for $2200. The dent in the tank is not from being dumped, the kickstand was not down all the way in the driveway and it fell over. (new tank is about 400.00), it also could use a new front tire and re-jet the carb (have parts for this just needs to be done). This is reflected in the low price that I am selling the bike at. |

50th Anniversary Yamaha Special Edition R1? Yes Please!
Fri, 09 Sep 2011When Yamaha unveiled its 50th anniversary edition red and white livery for its M1 MotoGP machines in May, one question came immediately to mind: when can we get the special edition R1? The red and white design was created to celebrate Yamaha‘s 50th year in Grand Prix racing. Yamaha factory racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies debuted the livery at the Assen round in June, which saw the American Spies nab his first a career MotoGP win.
2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced
Thu, 30 May 2013Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort. However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.
The new Yamaha Tenere is preparing to debut
Sun, 30 Jul 2017The next-generation 689cc touring enduro is almost ready. The bike, magnificent in its conciseness and Dakar functionality, is a kind of preview of the future SUV that will replace the XT660Z Tenere. The rival of the BMW F800 GS/F 800 GS Adventure and the promising KTM 790 Adventure borrowed the 689cc inline-two from the Yamaha MT-07 and XSR700 (on these bikes it develops 74.8 hp and 68 Nm).
