Yamaha V Star description

2005 Yamaha V-Star Classic Silverado 650 model  xvs65atts Classic with 19195 original miles.  Excellent running condition. This bike is ready to ride.  New front tire last spring, new back tire fall of 2014 with good tread left.  Also new last spring oil change, oil filter, spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, carb adjustment, battery.  I have not ridden it much at all since last spring due to back issues.  I still crank it and let it idol about once a week so that the gas does not settle.  It is time for someone else to enjoy her.
no major body damage, there is a "scuff" mark on tank nearest seat. Other than that this bike is great.  Vance and Hines pipes, includes cup holder, original tool set.  Pictures were taken last fall when I tried at that time to sell.  $500.00 is immediately deposited through paypal.  The balance paid in full upon pick up.  Clean and clear title.  THIS MAKES THE 4TH TIME I HAVE LISTED THIS BIKE ON EBAY.   PLEASE, PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS. I SAID SERIOUS BIDDERS, NOT WATCHERS TO JUST GET MY HOPES UP.  I NEED TO SELL THIS BIKE.  YOU WILL BE 100% SATISFIED.  THIS BIKE HANDLES AND RIDES VERY NICE,  SHIFTS SMOOTH. THANK YOU FOR ALL INTEREST

The short but sweet life of the Yamaha R7

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

I was reunited with an old friend recently, my 1999 Virgin Yamaha R7 Superbike. By the end of 1998 I had won three straight BSB titles with the Yamaha YZF750, when main sponsor Cadbury’s pulled out leaving zero funds for a title defence. Wanting desperately to ride the new R7 and thinking a replacement backer would instantly get on board I turned down quite a few offers including a juicy contract from Crescent Suzuki (Paul Denning always enjoys reminding me).

GPify the Yamaha Fazer FZ8 with LeoVince

Mon, 05 Jul 2010

Here is what LeoVince has to say about the new Fazer8 and FZ8 exhausts: Quick off the mark with 3 exhaust options launched for Yamaha's brand new 800cc Fazer and FZ8 models, LeoVince promise you less weight, better looks and improved performance. These new Fazers, with their R1 engines, albeit downgraded to a smaller 800cc capacity, have been designed by Yamaha to give more bottom end power.  LeoVince have finely tuned their new slip-on GP-PRO and SBK-FACTORY exhausts to further increase both power and torque throughout the whole rev range, and endow the bike with a much improved sports sound - plus a removable db baffle for increased throatiness.

Results From Day 2 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.
