2012 Yamaha YZF-R15 Revealed for India

Yamaha unveiled an updated YZF-R15 for the Indian market featuring a R1- and R6-inspired facelift. The original Yamaha R15 was released in India in 2008, representing market’s first premium sport bike. While other major manufacturers are now bringing their own premium models to the country, the early introduction gave Yamaha R15 a solid fan base and even a spec racing series.

Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale

The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Kenny Roberts R1 Auction Nets $87,000 for Charity

The one-off GYTR-equipped Yamaha YZF-R1 ridden by “King” Kenny Roberts at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca was auctioned for $87,000. Roberts and late night television star Jay Leno were the special guest auctioneers for the R1 at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction in Monterey, Calif.
