Yamaha V Max description

Very rare and very limited.  2005 Yamaha Vmax 1200.   Twenty year anniversary edition with only 1089 miles. The dealer told me that they made 2000 of the limited editions for the world and that only 200 of them were in the very sought after red with the factory ghost flames. So this is one of two hundred with ridiculous low miles.  I added $1280 worth of accessories. They are very expensive from Yamaha and I paid a premium since I was told the tail rack, mounting kit and passenger back rest was the last one in the country.  I also added a very rare DRIVER back rest that was custom made for this bike and a 2 inch Vmax only bar riser so you are not bent over and sit up in a natural riding position. It also has a clear windscreen so the wind blast doesn't blow you off the back.

Every thing you have heard about the smooth V4 and monster power this bike produces is an understatement. When the boost kicks in it is like flipping a switch on a nitrous bottle and adding a turbo at the same time. If you just want a cruiser for Sunday rides you don't need to rev it up to boost RPM's so it really is a fun all around bike. The engine oil and filter was just changed as was the rear end shaft oil. I also added the custom black levers that the dealer had as an option.  A dealer did the carb synch about 100 miles ago so it should be ready to go a long time with out any additional expenses.  The white marks on the tank are only a reflection as the paint is absolutely perfect.

2022 Yamaha MT-10 Review - First Ride

Mon, 15 Aug 2022

It's the King of the Masters of Torque Credit: Photos by Joe Augustin Heaping praise upon Yamaha’s naked bikes has become all too easy lately. Yes, the MT-07 did get dethroned in last year’s Middleweight Naked comparison, but not by much – and it took brand-new motorcycles from Aprilia and Triumph to do it. When it came time for the 900cc(ish) Nakeds last August, the newly revamped MT-09 surprised a couple people by taking the cake against KTM Duke 890 and five other very nice and mostly more expensive motorcycles.
