Yamaha V Max tech info

Yamaha V Max description
Listed for Highest Bid is a Beautiful 2004 Yamaha VMax Sportbike with less than 2400 miles. The Vmax is well known as a performance bike for experienced riders. This bike has been in my personal collection for about 6 years and has always been garage kept in a climate controlled environment. This bike is in excellent condition. It's 1200 cc V4 / 5speed/ Shaft Drive powertrain Runs and Drives flawlessly. It's a very smooth FAST ride. The bike is completely stock with the exception of the header exhaust system , a carb jet kit, a SpitFire windshield and Passenger backrest. Tires are original on this bike and it has been serviced on a regular basis. A new Yuasa battery was recently installed. Despite the low mileage on this bike it has been ridden on a regular basis to keep all the seals lubricated and the carbs clean. This bike starts and idles perfectly and has Zero hesitation when you twist the throttle. Only reason I am selling this beauty is that I am getting older and find I ride the Cruiser bikes much more than this superbike. I do have a Reserve price set but it is lower than you might think. So Bid away. Don't pass up a chance to own a Classic Powerhouse of a bike. Please forward any questions you have. I can send more pictures by request. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I can assist your designated shipper. $500 deposit via Paypal required within 24hrs. of end of the Auction. Balance due within 7 days. Cash or Certified Check only. All checks must clear original financial institution before the bike will be released for shipment. I do Reserve the Option to End this Auction early due to the bike being offered for sale locally. 2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
2024 Yamaha MT-09 SP Review – First Ride
Wed, 28 Aug 2024Better suspension and Track mode brings us so close to an R9 Photos by Dave Schelske As the tail rider in a train of approximately seven identical Yamahas, I couldn’t help but watch in awe as each of us weaved our way through the notorious Tail of the Dragon, bending the bike underneath us to our will through the 120-something corners, the unison of the dance mesmerizing as each of us took our turn, one by one, around each apex, at irresponsible speeds, front wheels inches away from the person in front of us. This is the kind of trust you build up after you’ve ridden with the same group of people for years on end. We all know that riding with your friends is fun.
Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
