The horrendous reality of restoring a 'classic'
Tue, 31 Aug 2010It was with much excitement – displaced or not – that my freshly rebuilt 1976 SR500 Yamaha fired into life at the second kick this weekend. I say second kick. Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid Prototype First Look
Tue, 23 Nov 2021Return to sender Well the seat was a little high, at 34.6 inches, but that didn’t stop the Yamaha Ténéré 700 from doing very well in last summer’s blockbuster middleweight ADV comparison. Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
