Up for sale is a pristine 2013 Yamaha Stryker with under 500 miles on it. I purchased a year ago brand new from Ride Now thinking I wanted to try out the cruiser scene. Long story short I can't bring myself up to saying goodbye to the sport bike world so this one must go. Don't pay all the additional cost you will have to pay a dealer for a new bike (dealer doc fee, crate and assembly fee, and TAXES. Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
Yamaha Motor USA to Swallow Up Yamaha Canada
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha’s board of directors has voted in transfer all shares of its Canadian subsidiary to its American subsidiary, a move which would give Yamaha Motor U.S.A. responsibility over the entire North American market. The proposed transfer, set to begin in December, will make Yamaha Motor Canada a subsidiary of its American counterpart.
Canadian Speeder’s Yamaha R1 Seen in Now-Famous YouTube Video Sold in Auction
Wed, 22 Aug 2012The Vancouver Sun is reporting on its website today that the Yamaha R1 made famous in a YouTube video featuring the rider speeding along the Trans-Canada Highway was sold recently for $4,651 in an online auction. According to the Sun the auction was conducted by B.C.’s Civil Forfeiture Office, which can seize property believed to have been used for unlawful activity. The winning bidder, 4x4albert, beat more than 70 bids to claim the 2006 R1.
