Yamaha Stratoliner description

2010 Yamaha Stratoliner S, The Yamaha Stratoliner S is a Cruiser style motorcycle. Power is provided by a 4-Stroke, 1854cc, Air cooled, OHV Pushrod, V Twin engine with Electric starter. The engine is paired with a 5-Speed Manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 4.5 gallons. The Stratoliner S rides on Aluminum wheels with a 130/70-18 front tire and a 190/60-17 rear tire. The front suspension is a Telescopic Fork while the rear suspension is a Twin Sided Swing Arm. Front Dual Hydraulic Disc brakes and rear Hydraulic Disc brakes provide for the stopping power. The Stratoliner S comes standard with Two-Piece, 2-passenger seating.

Yamaha Files Suit Over Scooter Design

Yamaha has filed a lawsuit against a pair of Japanese companies alleging their electric scooter copies the design of the Yamaha Gear BX50 scooter. The Yamaha Gear  BX50 (pictured left above) is a 50cc four-stroke scooter sold in Japan as a commercial-use model, aimed for small business such as newspaper distributors. Yamaha has been offering the BX50 (and the BX50N variant) since 2007, selling 39,917 units as of December 2011.

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Certified by California Air Resources Board

Although Yamaha has yet to announce the FZ-07 for American consumption, new documents from the California Air Resources Board lead us to believe it’s on its way to U.S. dealers. The FZ-07 was first revealed last fall at EICMA as the MT-07, which is the name it is being sold under in Europe, Japan and other markets.
