2013 Yamaha Super Tenere 1200cc, 6 speed, ABS, traction control, 2 performance modes. Bought as a new in the crate leftover in fall of 2015. Only 1,300 miles. Pearl white. Tricked out with AltRider gear top to bottom. Sargent carbon fiber pattern seat. Givi Maxima top case. Yoshimura RS4 pipe. 2016 model kickstand. Kaoko throttle control, ROX bar risers, Cyclops LED light bar mounted - wiring not completed. Madstad adjustable shield mount, wind wings, etc. NO GPS, I removed it after pics were taken. This bike won Adventure Bike of the year winning over the forever reining champion BMW 1200gs. Try to buy a new Tenere and equip it like this and you will have over $20,000 in it. 2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results
Mon, 24 Feb 2014KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
Yamaha Building New Factory in India
Mon, 14 May 2012Yamaha has received approval from the government of India to build a new factory in Chennai in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Joining an existing factory near New Delhi, the new Chennai plant is expected to increase Yamaha‘s production capabilities in India to 2.8 million units a year by 2018. The new factory will be built on a 109-acre lot in Vallam Vadagal on the outskirts of Chennai.
Yamaha Reveals 2013 MotoGP Livery – Video
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Yamaha officially launched its 2013 MotoGP factory team, revealing the new livery for riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi and their YZR-M1 prototypes. The new livery returns to a predominantly blue design with white elements compared to last year’s design which was more predominantly white. The livery also features a modern interpretation of Yamaha‘s speed block design.
