Yamaha SR500 tech info
Yamaha SR500 description
Up for sale is my near mint 1978 Yamaha SR500. I've absolutely loved owning and riding this bike, however I'm moving to the mountains in Utah and it won't get the attention it deserves.
It has always been garaged and has less than 16,000 miles on it (I have put 1,500 miles on it since I purchased it 2 years ago) and has less than 20 miles since its last service. Here is a video of a walk around: https://youtu.be/oFYYhUo6o3U The title is clear, the registration is paid through April 2017 and it comes with the custom vanity plate "SEVNT8". I have never had any issues with it and everything runs absolutely great. I just installed a brand new Seat and super bright LED taillight and it comes with the old fender and light (picture included) as well as 2 extra rear fenders. I'm happy to show it to locals or upload any additional pics or videos upon request. Note: There are no turn signals or horn installed, however the wiring is there. Happy Bidding! |

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season
Thu, 17 May 2012Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
Pedrosa: most wins, least successful
Wed, 11 May 2011Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
