Yamaha Road Star description
2009 Yamaha Road Star, A True Classic, And A Great Ride! The 2009 Yamaha Road Star is a true classic. With its massive 1670cc air-cooled, pushrod, fuel injected, V-Twin and it's long, low chassis, it is sure to turn heads as you rumble past. Comfort, performance and style plus Yamaha's famous quality and reliability. At the heart of this machine is a massive, air-cooled 1670cc, fuel injected V-Twin that pumps out an awesome amount of piston pounding torque. But "The Roadie" is more than just muscle. Legendary Star styling and attention to detail make it a rolling piece of art that you'll be proud to ride. Fuel-Injected knockout. The 2009 Road Star is one of the biggest, baddest air-cooled V-twins in the business. It looks good, due mostly to the classic appeal of that hardtail-looking steel frame and all the classic-looking hardware that goes with it. When it comes to power that fuel-injected 102-cubic-inch overhead-valve air-cooled V-twin assures the horses are never in short supply.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
2022 Yamaha XSR900 Review - First Ride
Wed, 25 May 2022The sportiest Sport Heritage Credit: Photos by Adam Campbell | Videos by Sean Matic Some of us were a bit surprised when Yamaha’s newly overhauled 2021 MT-09 snagged first place in last summer’s 900cc(ish) Naked Bike Comparison, against such more-expensive heavy hitters as the new Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890. And all of us were a little surprised when the XSR900 defeated Indian FTRs 1200 and 1200S, and the now-defunct Monster 1200S, in an only slightly unfair 2019 comparo. (Slightly unfair because our test route was really nothing but tight, twisty roads.) Now, the 2022 XSR900 is newly overhauled just as last year’s MT-09 was, using all the same parts from the waist down, including the new super-sized 890 cc version of that most excellent CP3 three-cylinder and all its electronic controls.
Yamaha Files Patents for Leaning Three-Wheeled Electric Scooter
Fri, 29 Aug 2014Yamaha has filed a number of patents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office for an electric three-wheeled scooter.
