2004 Yamaha Road Star 1700 **silverado Edition** *new Tires* Low Reserve on 2040-motos
Yamaha Road Star tech info

Yamaha Road Star description
Super nice, super clean, Limited Silverado Edition with winshield, leather bags, and studded seat.
Rinehart exhaust makes this monsterous 1700 V Twin sound like it should have from the factory. For 2004 the Road Star was re-done with better motor, clutch and brakes (similar to the R1 sport bike dual discs). I just changed the oil and put new tires on (Shinko 777's). Tires haven't even been broken in, less than 5 miles on them. This is an AWESOME riding bike!

Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012
Tue, 11 Oct 2011The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
