Yamaha Road Star description

2003 Yamaha Road Star , 2003 Yamaha Road Star with only 22242 miles on it. This bike was just serviced and has a new battery, plugs, oil, etc. Runs and sounds great. Has some minor cosmetic issues (some bolts with surface rust, normal ware, etc,) but is a very sound bike. You are guaranteed to turn heads on this bike, and I have always been complemented for its patriotic paint scheme. This is a true cruiser, it is loud (vance and hines straight pipes), powerful, and looks great. This is not a show bike, it is meant to be rode and not just looked at. I have a few helmets that I can give ya as well if you would like. Asking $4700 but will consider reasonable offers. Grab this bike just in time for the fall riding season, truly the best time to ride here in VA. Face to face sale ONLY. Location: midlothian $4,700.00 6317643513

Is A New Yamaha R1 Coming for 2023?

Mon, 20 Jun 2022

FIM approves track-only YZF1000W model A recently updated list of FIM-approved competition vehicles indicates that a new track-only Yamaha YZF-R1 is on the way for the 2023 model year. And if this is true, then we may also expect a significantly updated street legal 2023 R1 too. The International Motorcycling Federation maintains a spreadsheet titled “FIM Recognized Competition Vehicles” that includes approved racing-only models.

Hilarious Lorenzo sidecar spoof

Tue, 12 Jan 2010

CHECK OUT this cracking bit of video starring Spanish MotoGP sensation Jorge Lorenzo out and about on his scooter outfit on the streets of Barcelona. Watch as the Fiat Yamaha man negotiates rush-hour traffic, suffers numerous breakdowns and gets pulled over by the Spanish cops. Great to know these lads can have a laugh too, eh?

Not the most sensible of commuters..

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

This is the white and gold 2012 Yamaha R1. It's also the bike I shall be commuting on for the next 8 months. The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. There are three fresh colours to choose from.
