Yamaha Road Star description

2003 Limited Edition "Liquid Silver" #1275 of 1600
Road Star Silverado.

I am selling because I no longer ride due to being busy with the family these days. The bike just turned 10,000 miles and is in perfect mechanical condition. I have always taken very good care of my machines, especially this bike. I only use Mobil 1 synthetic oil filter with Amsoil 20W-50 fully synthetic motorcycle oil.

Mods:
This bike has Cobra pipes on it that make it just a little bit louder. Great base / sound! Not too loud though. Other than that, no modifications to the mechanicals.

This has been the most solid reliable bike I have ever owned. Zero issues what-so-ever. Always starts up right away and idles strong. No leaks, no drips, no burning oil. Does not run lean or rich or any popping, runs perfect always has. No issues riding either. Never ever been crashed or even laid down. The tires are near new Metzler 880 wide white wall tires.

Extra Chrome.
When I first got this bike 10 years ago I added a lot of extra chrome. I only bought OEM Yamaha "Star Accessories" chrome add-ons...such as Big Bar "highway bars" light visors, chrome floor board, etc...

One thing I have noticed. No matter how much I tried to keep the bike clean and take care of it, a few of the "Star Accessories" have slightly rusted/pitted. However, it is very minor and the main chrome on the bike is perfect. I think the "Star Accessories" must use a different chroming process. The oxidation on the accessories is very minor and if you want, you can simply remove any additional chrome I added and/or put back any of the original black/rubber factory parts as I still have all of the original parts that I took off to replace with chrome...they all go with the sale of the bike. Other than that, the main bike is perfect.

I am also selling a nearly new 2006 Kendon Stand Up Trailer.

No shipping. I encourage you to come see the bike in person.
