Yamaha Road Star description

2002 Yamaha Road Star Warrior , I'm selling my 2002 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. It has a 102 cubic inch engine with 13,000 miles on it. I've done loads of work to it, and it really stands out. I constantly get compliments when I ride. This bike is fast, and handles like a dream. It's a power cruiser, similar to a Victory Hammer, Harley Davidson V-Rod, or Kawasaki Mean Streak (only better). Mods include: - Baron's Big Radius handlebars with internal wiring - Kuryakyn ISO grips with throttle boss - New Barnett's clutch cable - AIS Block off - Vance and Hines Big Shot Pipes (sound great) - Wraparound front LED turn signals - 3 inch forward control extension with Kuryakyn Swingwing pegs - Three spoke rear pulley - Open 31 tooth front pulley for faster launch - Hidden rear brake caliper - Rear brake reservoir, horn, and brake switch relocated - Blue LEDs throughout - Tachometer cowl - Lower fairing front cowl - Velocity Big Air Kit - Dyna Ignition Coils and wires, Iridium plugs - Numerous parts are freshly powder coated (wheels, side covers, pulleys, calipers, and more) - Brand new battery - Both tires were replaced recently, and have less than 1,000 miles on them - Mustang solo seat - Corbin Dual Tourer seat with passenger backrest - I'm sure there's more I haven't mentioned I'm letting this go for $6500. It's very fairly priced. There are numerous other Warriors for sale with larger price tags and less modification. Anything a Warrior owner is going to do to a stock Warrior has already been done here. I've maintained this bike very well, and treat it like one of my kids. I'm parting with it to buy a bagger so my wife is a little more comfortable on long rides. If you're interested, or have any questions, feel free to call or text any time at (417) 8four0-7683. $6,500.00 4178407683

A look forward to the year (and rides) to come You’ve read our weeks long tribute to 2021 in the form of the MO Best Of awards. Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster

Wed, 25 Jan 2012

French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.
