Imagine an air-cooled, pushrod, 102-cubic inch V-twin (1670cc) with the Road Star powerplant as the engine base. With numerous changes made to various components, the new engine boasts a dramatic 40% boost in horsepower. The new V-twin rumbles inside an aluminum frame with YZF-R1-derived suspension.

Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.
Yamaha Champions Riding School To Debut One-Day “Day Camps” This August
Tue, 22 Jul 2014On August 13, the Yamaha Champions Riding School, at New Jersey Motorsports Park, will debut its new one-day clinic. In addition, YCRS will head an N2 Track Days SED or “Skills Enhancement Day” on August 12. After eight successful two-day programs in the past four months, the YCRS Day Camp is being put into play and being paired with the proven success of the N2 (formerly NESBA) SED.
