2014 Yamaha Raider SCL, 2014 Star Motorcycles Raider Star Custom Line The Star Custom Line (SCL) is an exclusive, totally custom, limited production Raider for those wanting a truly unique chopper-inpired performance cruiser. Each bike has hand painted elements and features stainless steel braided lines, custom blacked-out hardware, genuine leather seat and a special metal SCL hologram badge on the top of the fuel tank. Plus all the addicive power and performance of the 113-cubic inch V-Twin engine that is second to none in its class. Key Features May Include The limited production Raider SCL is loaded with premium cruiser features. Crafted for riders who value exclusivity, only 500 of these exceptional machines will be built. The Raider SCL features newly developed, aggressive, robust, dark Matte Iron paint accented with a Matte Raven color including unique pin striping on the front/rear fenders and headlight. The bike delivers premium quality the discerning rider is looking for. A new blacked-out theme embodies the Raider SCL with black components throughout: oxidized titanium coated fork tubes, push-rod tubes, forks, exhaust, air cleaner box, wheels, meter panel, switch gear, and master cylinders, just to name a few. The 2014 Raider SCL simply stands out from the crowd. Great attention to detail was taken into consideration when designing the genuine leather two-tone seat with embroidered SCL logo, and matching beige and red stitching keeping the discerning cruiser customer in mind. Over time, the seat will develop a character of its own and will be unlike any other. The top panels of the seat have leather grain for 2014. Yamaha Signed On As Presenting Sponsor For Three-Event GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout
Thu, 03 Apr 2014Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., is proud to announce that it has signed on as sponsor for the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented By Yamaha, a three-event championship motorcycle road racing series that includes the Yamaha SoCal Nationals at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on April 26-27; the Pacific Nationals at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA on May 3-4; and the Mountain Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT on May 24-25. The announcement was made by Bob Starr, General Manager of National Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. California Superbike School 2-day Camp at Silverstone
Mon, 24 May 2010California Superbike School will be running a 2-day camp at Silverstone for the first time in the UK this August, offering riders a chance to enjoy extra track time while improving their skills in the art of cornering. Taking place on the all-new South circuit (1.9 miles long with 12 turns) students can ride their own bike or hire a fully prepared 2010 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop Sportsmart tyres and fuel included. Already hugely popular with students returning year after year, previously the 2-day camps have been held in Spain during the spring.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
