Yamaha RZ350 tech info
Yamaha RZ350 description
This is a rare Kenny Roberts Edition RZ350 VIN 000749 in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The RZ350 features a Twin Cyinder Two-Stroke 347cc, 6-Speed Gearbox and Oil Injection. This one has been nicely upgraded with Toomey Exhaust with Polished Silencers, Fox Racing Shox, NHK Steering Damper and Black Wheels (originally Gold). I have over $6,000 in receipts on hand from the previous owner for upgrades and services. I also have a box full of parts including original exhaust that goes with the bike. You will be hard pressed to find a more pampered or better running example! Bike is in excellent "survivor" condition meaning it does have some natural patina inevitable on a 31 year old bike. The odometer currently reads 7795 miles which is believed to be actual but I have no way of verifying so I cannot guarantee. I am happy to provide additional pictures and will have a video of the bike running available to interested parties. Please email any requests through Ebay and I will respond promptly. This bike was purchased with four other bikes from a local customer/friend that I have known for 10 years. I have ridden the bike and do not know of any mechanical issues. Please bid to buy as the reserve has been set to sell. Thanks for looking!
On Jul-21-16 at 10:19:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I just received the following questions from a member. I could not respond publicly since there were pictures attached to my response. I have posted his questions and my answers below. If anyone would like to see these or any other pictures please message me through Ebay ( I am at my image limit on the listing). I wanted to add that the $6,000+ in receipts I have are all from RZ's Unlimited in Glendale, California. Also, I was going through the old parts today and noticed the original left side muffler has a scrape. I tried to update the picture in the listing to show it but Ebay won't allow me to change pictures. Please forward any questions/requests and I will do my best to answer them. Trying to be as transparent as possible. Thanks. Has the gas tank been coated/lined? Can you post a pic of the inside area of the tank? Any cracks in the plastic pieces? Have a tool kit in it? Date code on the tires? Speedo and tach work properly?
Thanks for your interest. I am not sure how to determine whether this bike has its original paint. I put a paint meter on the tank in several spots and it reads within what would be considered an OEM range for a car. I have attached a few pictures including one showing the mouth of the tank. Small crack in the tail (pictured). Date code front tire: 1810 rear tire: 3911. I have an invoice from RZ's Unlimited (12/12/11) for "OEM Black wheels, new bearings/seals, new rear and like new front tire". The previous owner preferred Black over Gold. Speedo and Tach work properly. There is no tool kit under the seat. Please let me know if you need anything else. |
