Yamaha RZ350 description

1983 Yamaha RZ350. This bike is a Canadian import. The RZ350 did not come the the US until 1984. The condition of the bike is good. All controls and signals are working. The bike is complete but has some cosmetic issues. The tank has had some bondo and paint work done by the previous owner. The patch of bondo/paint looks good from far away but you can see it up close. The piping on the front fairing is a little loose and the battery cover is slightly damaged but will attach properly.

This bike rips hard. It is tuned and ready to ride. The previous owner installed Race Tech springs in the front forks as well as expansion chambers and a crossover tube for the intakes. The YPVS power valve works properly and pulls hard.

Since the bike is a Canadian import the speedo and odometer are in kilometers. The speedo displays KMH and MPH so the you can keep track of speed no problem. The odometer reads aprox 25,000 Kilometers which works out to about 15,000 Miles.

Clear Washington title in my name. Registered as an antique vehicle with Collector Tags.

I am willing to ship the bike. I  WILL TRANSPORT THE BIKE TO A TERMINAL BUT I WILL NOT PACK OR CRATE IT. YOUR SHIPPER SHOULD HANDLE THE BIKE ONCE IT IS AT THE LOCATION.

Yamaha Canada Cuts Prices to Move Closer to US Pricing

As a Canadian, I’ve gotten used to accepting a lot of differences between Canada and the United States. It’s colder up here. The taxes are higher.

Lorenzo Signs Two-Year Extension with Yamaha

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

Two-time MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha to see him race on the company’s factory team through the 2016 season. The signing comes as no real surprise, following similar two-year contract extensions for teammate Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Ducati also confirmed it would field Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone next season, so unless Lorenzo wanted to spend a season or two developing Suzuki‘s or Aprilia‘s new prototypes, Lorenzo’s only option for a factory ride was to re-sign with Yamaha.

Behind the scenes in Qatar

Sat, 19 Mar 2011

Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.
