Yamaha R5C350 description

Up for sale with no reserve is this fantastic 1972 Yamaha 350 2-stroke. This bike has 41218 miles and obviously was someone's rider for a long time. It has the original owner's manual and extensive notes detailing all maintenance and service records. The tires were replaced a few years ago. It is an entirely original machine with the VIN of R5-131931 on the frame and the motor. We have a clear PA Title in our name ready to transfer to the new owner. Everything is in working order including lights, signals, brake lights etc. The paint and chrome are in very nice condition and there are no tears in the seat. The gas tank is clean inside and was never coated. There is a dent on the tank and on the headlight shell which we have pointed out in the photos.

We are located in New Stanton PA 15672 which is at the intersection of I-70 and I-76(Pennsylvania Turnpike) and pickup can be arranged on a 24/7 basis. Our driveway is big enough to accommodate any size truck or trailer.

This is a NO RESERVE auction so the high bidder gets the bike so bid to win and be prepared to complete the transaction when the auction ends. We require a $200 deposit at the end of the auction and the balance to be paid via wire transfer when arrangements can be made to exchange banking info. On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.

Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo topped all riders with a top lap time of 2:01.657 on the first day of pre-season MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. With reigning World Champion Casey Stoner ailing and unable to ride, Lorenzo produced the top time as the only racer to lap Sepang in under 2 minutes 2 seconds. Riding the 1000cc Yamaha YZR-M1, Lorenzo topped second-ranked Dani Pedrosa and his Honda RC213V by 0.343 seconds.
