Hello This is My Son's 1995 Pw 50. This bike is Pretty Mint! This Bike was Meticulously cared for. I am not the original owner, But I really took care of this bike. The Bike had a Top and Lower end rebuild by Case Polaris in PA. ( I have all receipts) including new ring and piston and internal kick start rod. I did this rebuild voluntarily. Upgraded Grips, New Upgraded Wide Foot Pegs. New Motion Pro Throttle Cable. Upgraded airbox . I always used super, and motorex injector oil. The Bike was never seriously raced, mostly light Trails and yard usage. This bike starts 1st or 2nd kick and never has let us down. Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
