Yamaha PW description

2005 Yamaha PW 80, In Great Shape! - Call Austin @ (828)277-8600 Great Fun for Younger Riders The PW80 is powered by a 79cc, 2-stroke engine with a smooth-shifting, 3-speed transmission with automatic clutch designed to ease the beginner into the basics of shifting. The electronic CD ignition produces a hot, reliable spark and is virtually maintenance-free. Exclusive Autolube oil injection system eliminates the need to premix fuel and oil. A removable, power-limiting exhaust restrictor allows parents or adult supervisors to increase power output as child’s skill level improves. Class-lowest 25 seat height creates a handling-enhancing low center-of-gravity and allows most smaller riders to put both feet down for added confidence. Class-leading lightweight at 126 pounds means quick, responsive steering and greater maneuverability.

The problem with electric bikes...

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

This weekend sees the running of the most famous car race of them all, the Le Mans 24hrs, and to be a driver of one of the front-running cars has got to be fairly high on the list of jobs that will make ladies swoon. But the latest press picture from Yamaha – publicising the firm's link with (Yamaha shareholder) Toyota's Le Mans effort – manages to strip away every last shred of of swagger from the team's drivers by plonking them on Yamaha EC-03 electric scooters.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
