Yamaha PW description

Gently used YZinger PW 80 in excellent mechanical condition. There is some minor discoloration in the front and back fenders from them flexing when I trailered the bike to riding locations but that is all. It has started for me on the first kick every time and I've owned it 10 years. The bike is great for beginners and the 3 speed Semi-automatic clutch makes it easy to learn how to shift. I upgraded to the FMF silencer but it did not make a noticeable difference in performance. I am also including a quart of 2 cycle oil and an extra tube for the front tire as well. I have the title and it is shown in the pictures. Free pickup or USHIP is available at the buyers expense.

Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.

2011 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Champion Josh Hayes

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
