2005 Yamaha R6 Clear title13915 mis (Purchased from second owner with 12,870 mis)Fairings were replaced by first owner after a low speed drop.HID LampsYoshimura ExhaustSelling because I do not ride anymore. The bike was started a few weeks ago and was in good working order. The battery has since died and requires replacing. The crank case has some scratches on it. There are some other scratches here and there. Tread on the front tire is good. The tread on the rear tire is getting low. It could use a little routine maintenance but nothing major.Offers welcome!!!

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

Motocross Pioneer Pierre Karsmakers Elected To AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame

Pierre Karsmakers, one of the first European motocross champions to bring his expertise to America, has been elected to the AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame Class of 2014. A three-time motocross champion in his native Holland, Karsmakers came to the United States to gain wider exposure and attract the attention of the Japanese motorcycle makers. “All the Japanese (sponsorship) contracts were going to Belgian riders,” Karsmakers said.
