Yamaha Other description

Up for sale, a very nice 1968 Yamaha YG5T Trailmaster.  I have spent lots of time and money to make it run and look great.  All original Trailmaster with only 1507 miles since new.  I had the tank, fenders, headlight and fork ears, side covers professionally repainted with original candy apple.  Seat has a new cover, new battery, new tires and tubes, new chrome mag cover, headlight rim and clutch cable.  Everything works as it should, lights, horn, stoplight, etc.  No rust and the tank is very clean inside.  Fork boots have no tears, seat and pillion have no holes or tears, and has new fork seals.  Lots of new hardware, and comes with the parts manual, service manual, and riders manual.  Has the duel sprocket setup for street or trail.  I have the trail sprocket hooked up now.  I will also include a brand new cylinder and piston, plus upper end gaskets.  The only damage is a dent in the rear end of the muffler as shown and the rubber gasket under the speedo has some cracks, but totally useable.  I do not presently have the title, but will get it if the buyer pays the fees associated.  I can provide a bill of sale immediately.  Title will take 3 weeks.  I have owned this bike for 10 years, and I am ready to pass it on to another collector.  If you like old Yamahas, this one is getting hard to find.

I will take this bike to the shipper of your choice within the Dallas-Fort Worth area free of charge and drop it off if you arrange the drop off and pay all shipping charges.  I can put it in the shipping container at the shippers warehouse, tie it down and lock it up for you at no charge.  Just let me know where to take it and the point of contact. You can personally pick it up at my office in North Fort Worth if you like.

For more info, you can call me at 817-703-8001. I take all credit cards thru my company.

Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
