Yamaha Other description

YAMAHAMORPHOUS 250 CC Maxi Scooter. Terrific Condition. The reason I'm sellingis that I purchased a larger scooter. Color is deep blue. These scooters were only made for 3yrs 2006,7, and 2008 andare fairly rare and the futuristic styling gets lots of attention onthe street and and cruise ins. LED instrument panel and a futuristicbody style like no other and with a seat height of just 25.8"it's perfect for even the shortest of riders. Has always been adultowned and garaged every night. Mileage is 8,3xx and growing as it isbeing ridden almost daily. Has an after market larger wind screenonit but includes the original short one. Keeps up with traffic andgets a pretty consistent 60-65 MILES-PER-GALLON around the metro area. The onlydamage on it are on the right side where it fell off the center stand(operator error) about the 1st day I had it. I have a newreplacement panel for 1 of the 2 scratched panels in the correctcolor. Also includes complete shop manual and maintenance history. $2350. Local pick up only but I will work with you if youarrange to have a shipper pick it up. For sale locally so I reservethe right to close this auction at any time. I have added a close up picture of the scratches on the right front panel by where the right foot rests.

I can’t get enough of pictures that capture a specific, hard to define moment; the successful encapsulation of the absolute balls-to-the-wall, life or death commitment that riding a motorbike as fast as possible involves.  We all know. We’ve all been there – even if it’s only a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Maybe (for us mere mortals) it’s that rapidly, yet unexpectedly, tightening left-hand bend with a shitty, mud-covered veneer just at the apex.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
