My mission statement is simple; I want to make smooth transactions leaving both of us willing to do business again.  I am striving for 100% positive feedback.

1974 Yamaha DT 250A Enduro

A Gorgeous classic Yamaha DT250. Mechanically excellent, and cosmetically beautiful. The bike has some minor scratches and decal fading; however it is in excellent overall shape for its age. This bike is extremely nimble and runs great.

The odometer and speedometer function correctly, and the mileage shown at 12,600 is accurate, the trip indicator is not working.

I have gone over the bike carefully as described below and all indications point to a very well maintained motorcycle. When I purchased I performed a complete maintenance.

I then had the motor gone through and installed new seals and rings as well as. New gaskets installed as needed and replacement of any worn parts. I also had the transmission gone thru and adjusted to factory specifications.

The gas tank is clean and rust free. Levers and cables are in great condition and work as they should.

There are new Metzeler Sahara tires front and rear.

All the lights work. The battery is recent and works fine.

The oil injection system is functional and adjusted correctly.

The bike has new fork seals, and fork boots.

The tip of the headlight on/off switch is missing as shown in the pictures.

I have included multiple pictures to show as accurately as possible the exact condition of the bike.

All the paint is excellent; there are no dents, good plastic, beautiful wheels and spokes. The Original dual seat has no tears and show the outstanding condition.

The original tool kit, owner’s manual, and warranty book, are included with the bike. This is a nice clean well maintained example of a Yamaha DT

The winning bidder is asked to transfer a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal, and begin making arrangements for payment with me, within 72 hours of the auctions end.  The transaction to be completed within a 7 day period, unless other arrangements have been made.  I will be happy to turn the bike over to your shipper, according to your directions, by your arrangement. All shipping arrangements and cost are the responsibility of the buyer. 2022 Yamaha MT-10 Review - First Ride

Mon, 15 Aug 2022

It's the King of the Masters of Torque Credit: Photos by Joe Augustin Heaping praise upon Yamaha’s naked bikes has become all too easy lately. Yes, the MT-07 did get dethroned in last year’s Middleweight Naked comparison, but not by much – and it took brand-new motorcycles from Aprilia and Triumph to do it. When it came time for the 900cc(ish) Nakeds last August, the newly revamped MT-09 surprised a couple people by taking the cake against KTM Duke 890 and five other very nice and mostly more expensive motorcycles.

The state of road racing in America is hurting, there’s no doubt about that. But at least Yamaha is stepping up to the plate and increasing its contingency program for club level road racers 50% over last year. According to Yamaha, the program is designed to encompass a broad spectrum of road racing series across the U.S., from numerous club-level and regional sprint series events to the AMA Pro Road Racing series, including the addition of the ASRA Team Challenge Endurance Series.
