UP FOR BID IS MY 1974 YAMAHA RD 350  TORQUE INDUCTION 6 SPEED MOTORCYLE. I HAVE OWN THIS BIKE SINCE NEW AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE. CYCLE HAS NOT BEEN LICENSE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND ITS BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE AND NOW IT IS TIME TO GO. IT PROBABLY COULD USE A TUNE-UP, CHAIN AND SPROCKET AND TIRES. THERE ARE SOME FLAWS, DENT IN FRONT FENDER, SMALL DING IN GAS TANK, MISSING REFLECTOR ON BACK, AND VERY MINOR SURFACE RUST ON FRAME. I HAVE HAD IT RUNNING AND DROVE IT AROUND THE YARD. A GREAT BIKE TO RESTORE OR DRIVE. IT USE TO GET ABOUT 38 MPG AND 105 MPH. NOT TO THRILLED TO SELL BUT HOSPITAL BILLS NEED TO BE PAID. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees

The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.

James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
