2009 Yamaha V Star 1300. This bike was bought new in Dec 2011 for my son. He repainted it the original blue to remove all of the markings. After that it sat in the garage.Gas tank was been drained and refilled along with a gas treatment additive just in case. A new battery was installed and it fired right up. Runs and Drives just like it did when we drove it off the showroom floor. Yamaha Motor USA to Swallow Up Yamaha Canada

Yamaha’s board of directors has voted in transfer all shares of its Canadian subsidiary to its American subsidiary, a move which would give Yamaha Motor U.S.A. responsibility over the entire North American market. The proposed transfer, set to begin in December,  will make Yamaha Motor Canada a subsidiary of its American counterpart.
