Josh Hayes to Test Tech 3 Yamaha M1

Two-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes has been invited to test Colin Edwards’ Tech 3 Yamaha YZR-M1 at the MotoGP post-season test. Tech 3 principal Herve Poncharal told MCN Hayes will get to ride a few laps on the Yamaha M1 Nov. 7 at the end of season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit.

Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., along with the Star Touring and Riding association, join forces for the fifth year to support the charitable organization Feed the Children in a food drop to benefit needy Orange County, Calif., residents. The event takes place today, Friday, November, 18th. Yamaha Tops Second Day of Sepang Test as Honda Twiddles Thumbs

Ben Spies topped the time sheets ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo as Yamaha continued its MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia. While their rivals at Honda were idled by an engine problem, the two factory Yamaha riders found improvement on their Day One times and gathered data about riding in both wet and dry conditions. Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.
