Shake off the winter doldrums at Daytona Bike Week, one of America’s biggest motorcycling events, running March 7-16. The 73rd running of the Daytona 200 is a big draw, but it’s just one of the events being held through the week. Rossi Makes Progress but Hayden Suffers Shoulder Setback

Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.

Supe up the Super Ténéré

Remus are offering a slip-on exhaust for the 2010 Yamaha Super Ténéré. The new Super Ten exhaust from Remus comes in two options, the stainless steel hexacone retails at £370 and offers 1.6kg of weight saved on the stock OEM exhaust with a power increase of 7.5bhp. The second choice for the Yamaha's big adventure bike is the lighter titanium hexacone, the can offers the same increase in power but saves 1.81kg in weight.
