2013 Yamaha Stryker, PEARL WHITE STRYKER - GET THIS NEW 2013 YAMAHA/ STAR STRYKER MOTORCYCLE IN BEAUTIFUL PEARL WHITE, NOW ON SALE FOR $ 9,595.00!!! MSRP on this is $ 11,590.00 + $ 324.00 freight. The Yamaha Stryker with its raked-out front end and “fists in the wind” riding position, the Stryker is pure attitude. The Yamaha Stryker is powered by a fuel injected/liquid cooled 80-cubic-inch V-twin, with a 5 speed transmission and a beautiful final belt drive. This bike churns out plenty of low-end torque that gets to the ground in a very satisfying way. Great looking blacked out frame, engine and radiator make perfect contrast for the pearl white finish and chrome trim~~ Aluminum 5 spoke wheels, rumbling 2 into 2 exhaust and a meaty rear tire round out this bike!!! Price does not reflect applicable freight, tax, and license fees. See it at Star West Motorsports in Delano.

Valentino Rossi Works at the Yamaha Offices when not Winning Everything

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

Yamaha Motor Europe has recently posted up on YouTube a delightful video about their riders.  Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode.  Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.

You want a nice little car, you do.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.

Japan-only 'race base' R1

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

Yamaha have proved once again that all-black bikes never fail to please, this is the Japan-only R1 supplied to you by Yamaha if you're going to be racing in the All-Japan Superbike Championship. So that'll be none of us getting one of these, then. The good news: you can choose between an R1 or an R6, they're supplied black and with a racing ECU and loom.
