MotoGP Lifts Rookie Rule, Caps Factory Prototype Entries and Adjusts Other Regulations
Fri, 29 Jun 2012As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines. As of this writing, the 2022 MT-10 has not been confirmed for the U.S., but we expect that will happen soon. Visually, Yamaha gave the MT-10 a styling refresh, giving it a new, less-angular face.

Yamaha has made it clear the Bolt Café is only a reference model to showcase the customization potential of the Bolt. At its heart remains the Bolt’s 942cc V-Twin engine and double-cradle frame.
