Yamaha Other description

Only 15k miles, absolutely nothing wrong with it, super clean all the way around, never been dropped, no mechanical problems, needs nothing, start right up every time, and I have clear title in hand. It has shorty Vance & Hines pipes, custom air breather, crash bars, hwy pegs, windshield, sissy bar, floor boards, chrome side covers, and plenty of meat on both tires. Not interested in trades or payments, cash only. If interested call me at. Must have full asking price in hand for a test drive, thanks.

Yamaha Named Official Motorcycle Of Road America

Thu, 02 May 2013

The economic downturn hit the motorcycle world particularly hard, as many factory-backed road racing efforts closed shop. The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.

2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 Video Featuring Ben Spies

Mon, 26 Sep 2011

Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.
