2009 Yamaha V-Max VMX1700, Priced almost 1500.00 below book!!!! In the land of bigger is better, a motorcycle like the VMAX has a lot of pull – literal and figurative. The claim is a head-glitching 197.4 horsepower at the crank, the claim is correct!!! I've ridden it, All I can say is WOW!!! Acceleration on the VMAX is pretty much the gnarliest thing I’ve ever experienced. I mean a 1000cc sportbike is pretty fast, but the VMAX gearing is so high and there’s so much power down low, you gotta hold on! On public pavement the power of the VMAX is past prodigious, beyond ridiculous. Probably should be illegal, but we’ll take it. And while the 66.9 wheelbase killed wheelie attempts, the power spat out of the shaft drive is what I would call usable power, it's a blast to ride!!! Stop by, or give us a call, lets talk V-Max!!! New AMA Pro SuperBike Final Qualifying Procedure To Be Implemented At Road America
Tue, 20 May 2014AMA Pro Racing is taking a page out of the playbook of the top racing series’ in the world and changing the qualifying format for AMA Pro SuperBike and breaking it up into three stages. This new format will debut later this month when AMA Pro Road Racing takes to the 4.05-mile track at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., for the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader on May 30 – June 1, 2014. All AMA Pro SuperBike competitors will participate in Qualifying 1 and 2.
2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid Designs Preview Production Model
Wed, 19 Jan 2022Yamaha has filed designs that reveal what the production version of the Ténéré 700 Raid will look like. The Ténéré 700 Raid was shown at EICMA in prototype form as an even more off-road capable version of the Ténéré 700. While the prototype was essentially a Ténéré 700 modified with Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) performance parts, the designed filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office appears ready for series production.
