I'm selling my 2008 Yamaha r6 because I'm going away to school and can't take it with me and won't have enough time ride it. Bike is in almost perfect condition besides just a few scratches on the lower plastics. Bike is completely stock except slip on GYTR exhaust and integrated tail light. LOW MILES: just over 7k Tires have about 50% tread left plus comes with 2 brand new tires never been put on. (Micheline 2ct) Comes with XL Joe Rocket jacket. (I normally wear size medium or large. Fits me perfect with a sweatshirt underneath. Also have a medium shoei helmet. Clear and tinted visor. (DOT and SNELL approved) Just passed NYS inspection. Yamaha Reveals PES1 and PED1 Electric Prototypes

Yamaha is bringing two new electric motorcycle prototypes to the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show: the PES1 streetbike and the PED1 dirt bike. The nomenclature is a combination of the initials for Passion, Electric and Street for the street version and Dirt for the off-road model. Both prototypes are equipped with DC brushless electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries.

Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM

Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.

MotoGP Lifts Rookie Rule, Caps Factory Prototype Entries and Adjusts Other Regulations

As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines.
