Yamaha Other description

Selling my beloved 2007 R1! The bike has a full race Akrapovic exhaust that sounds amazing. Also has a BMC race air filter, Zero Gravity windscreen , flush mounts, fender eliminator, and a power commander. The bike is in awesome condition and with lots of power. Other than that the bike is perfect. Comes with all OEM parts that have been removed including the exhaust, windscreen , turn signals, and even the original license plate holder with the tail signals. Brand new front Michelin tire just last month. I am the 2nd owner and the bike has always been well cared for.

Canada Gets Race Blu 2013 Yamaha Fazer8

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

Back in September, Yamaha revealed a special “Race Blu” livery for a the YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and the YZF-R125 for the European market. Yamaha promoted the new color scheme with Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies sporting the colors on their leathers and M1 race bikes at the Misano and Aragon MotoGP rounds. North American consumers were left out, however, getting a Team Yamaha Blue and White version instead for the R1 and R6 (the R125 isn’t offered here either).

R1 noise, bike porn and a quick lap

Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.
